Morality is the greatest quality of a human being. It is the prime mark of making difference from animal being. Education in all its forms is the only parameter that makes a human being moral. So, Einstein realized, "The most important human endeavour is the striving for morality in our actions. Our inner balance and even our very existence depend on it. "Only morality in our actions can give beauty and dignity to life."
But morality is eroding day by day because of the influence of materialisation and consumerism in world society. People are hungry for wealth, power, and prestige. Einstein’s opinion that "only a life lived for others is worthwhile" is not followed among the powerful elite. His caution: " I am absolutely convinced that no amount of wealth in the world can help humanity forward, even in the hands of the most dedicated worker in this cause. The example of great and pure personalities can lead us to noble deeds and views. Money only appeals to selfishness, and, without fail, it tempts its owner to abuse it." , is also absolutely being ignored in today’s society.
In Indian democracy, democratic political leaders determine the fate and fortunes of the world's second-most populous country. They show that they are dedicated and doing their best for the people, which is invisible to the democratic sufferers. Unfortunately, Indian democracy is filled with democratic nuisances. Obviously, these nuisances are the leaders of different political parties recognised by the Election Commission of India. For instance, particularly in West Bengal, the political leaders of the ruling TMC do not wish to leave every inch of corruption behind. They have sold school teachers' jobs and other government jobs. They are involved in coal scams and cattle scams. They defraud the beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and so forth. Nonetheless, they are paid through MGNEGRA.
So, who are the shareholders of Indian democracy—people or political parties? It is true that Indian democracy is the largest corporate where people are key pillars or players. However, their share is insignificant in comparison to political parties, which serve as democratic rulers of the people. People's shareholding is limited to their votes, in exchange for some relief from life's difficulties. The majority of this section is penury.
Political parties make democracy a contradictory and confused matter through their discrepancies and discrimination. All of this is because it is simple to gain votes or people's support in an election.They are not only making people fools. They are influencing how to be a nuisance or full of nonsense.
But how long will it last? How long will the people of India (particularly those of West Bengal) remain silent victims?
